This batch was taken in the early morning (between 7:00AM and roughly 10:00AM) on May 13, 2006 in Eldorado Canyon , an area above Boulder, Colorado. Colorado is a beautiful place to live and these pictures are just a few examples of why.

Finally! Some new pictures. For the second year in a row, Denver has hosted an Open Doors event for buildings and areas not usually open to the public are accessible and many of them can be photographed. One of the areas we could not photograph was the Temple Buell Theater, but we did get a tour of a backstage areas, and we were allowed on the stage; what thrill! Enjoy the pictures! The sign says it all. It's nice to get the shot, when they have a game there are so many people trying to get into the space that stopping to take pictures is impossible.

It's been a few months since any pictures were added, I hope this makes up for the drought. Below are twenty or so pictures taken from our recent trip to Walt Disney World in Florida. We were there December 2 through December 8, 2005 and had a great time and wonderful weather. It was fun seeing the various parks and hotels decorated for the holidays, and if you get the chance I recommend Disney in December. Smaller crowds and beautiful, sunny days.

This carosel at the Beach Club Resort is made of gingerbread and chocolate. The horses are carved from chocolate blocks and the entire thing is supposedly edible.

It needs to be seen to be believed. This is part of Osborne Family LIghts in Disney-MGM. Literally millions of lights cover the buildings from roof to ground, along with various lighted statues, and sculptures.

It's been rainy the past few days in the afternoons, so the birds have not been out as much. Every time I try to get a picture of the goldfinchs, they get camera shy and fly away.

The chickadees are back and the mourning doves have gone. The flickers are still about, and I see the owl very so often.

July 30, 2005. Today's pictures were all taken at ... Flat Irons Crossing; that's right, kids, a mall. One thing I will say for who ever the developer is for the property, they went to great effort to create a trail system and landscaping around the mall itself.
